Abstract
This study examines the relationships between incoherent identity, low self-esteem, and symptoms of depression, and their ability to predict the severity of alcohol/cannabis use problems. The results of this study indicate that the symptoms related to depression are a predictor of problems associated with alcohol and cannabis use problems.
