- Przybycin Alexander

Abstract
Effects of linguistic background on language learning were explored through the use of artificial language learning (ALL) tasks. Bilinguals performed better than monolinguals in learning an artificial language. This suggests that prior experience with second language acquisition may help facilitate subsequent new language acquisition.
