Virtual Reality Is Stranger Than Fiction: Reading and Virtual Reality Impacts on the Visual System

Utilizing several different presentation methodologies, including virtual and augmented realities, we examined acute symptoms experienced by readers in different conditions. Results suggested that there is no significant changes in acute symptoms between the different reading mediums before and after reading.
