Abstract
Researchers used mobile eye-tracking technology to indirectly measure teacher bias in attention and response to misbehavior in the classroom while controlling for the average amount of attention each student receives. Findings from these data indicate differential treatment based on student race and gender stems from different types of student misbehavior.
