Abstract

This study explores the role of Theory of Mind (ToM) development in children’s willingness to change answers based on inaccurate information from reliable adults. Children completed to two ToM tasks and answered questions after receiving inaccurate information. Results suggest skepticism may be related to explicit ToM, but not implicit ToM.
