Abstract

This study evaluated the association between non-medical use of prescription drugs (NMUPD) and HIV risk behavior. Results in a sample of young adults referred for substance use treatment in Kosovo indicated a pattern of higher HIV risk behaviors in individuals reporting NMUPD than individuals who did not report NMUPD.
