Abstract
Censorship today is often enacted by corporations (censorship by proxy or CBP). We explored the predictors of CBP support using the video game retailer Steam as a framework. Gamer identity and corporate personhood beliefs were negatively related to CBP support, whereas corporate social responsibility beliefs were positively related.
