Trait Mindfulness Influences Food Choice Rather Than Food Logo Priming

Abstract
This completed empirical study looked at whether unhealthy food related logos could prime the selection of unhealthy foods and whether any effects may be moderated by trait mindfulness. There was no effect of priming on food choice, however, participants reporting higher levels of trait mindfulness selected fewer unhealthy foods.
