Abstract
Some studies suggest that reading information in a hard-to-read font promotes learning. Across four experiments, we examined whether “Sans Forgetica” improves memory performance—as the font’s creators claim. Although subjects found Sans Forgetica harder to read than Arial, Sans Forgetica led to equivalent memory performance, and sometimes even impaired it.
