Abstract
This study examined the relation between parent executive functioning (EF), receptive vocabulary, and stress. Results demonstrated that parent EF moderated the relation between receptive vocabulary and perceived stress. Specifically, stress was lower for parents with lower receptive vocabulary and higher EF suggesting EF may serve as a protective factor.
