Mindsets and Closeness: Investigating Latent Profiles of Childhood Maltreatment

This study explored profiles of childhood maltreatment and associations with closeness to a caregiver in adolescence and current growth or fixed mindsets among a college sample (n = 380). Results indicated three classes that were significantly different in maltreatment on multiple categories and varied in closeness and growth mindsets.
