Abstract
Meta-analysis of maltreatment and exposure to community violence latent profiles specified that both experiences reflected problems resulting in special educational, social, and criminal justice system contacts. Primary maltreatment profiles reflected poorer mental health and familial economic disadvantage. Primary exposure to community violence profiles reflected risk-taking/violent behavior and neighborhood-level distress.
