Abstract
There is a positive link between self-perceived masculinity and spatial skills that varies by sex, suggesting a potential influence of ovarian hormones that can be studied in natural experiments. We detected this link in naturally cycling women and oral contraceptive users of moderately androgenic, but not low or anti-androgenic, pills.
