Positive Intergenerational Workplace Climate Attenuates Relationship between Stress and Job Satisfaction for Older Workers

Older workers’ perception of their workplace as age-friendly was found to moderate the relationship between work-related stress and job satisfaction. Increased stress was associated with lower job satisfaction for employees of organizations that were rated as less supportive for workers of different generations. Age-inclusive environments may provide a protective benefit.
