Investigating the Relation between Boredom and Media Multitasking

Abstract
To investigate the link between boredom and media multitasking (MMT), we measured rates of MMT in participants who underwent a boredom or interest induction. While overall rates of MMT were comparable between groups, we found evidence of a short-lived effect of the mood inductions on MMT.
