Abstract
Resettled refugees responded to measures of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), psychological distress, chronic stressors, and number of lifetime traumatic events. Results revealed that the strength of chronic stress as a moderator of traumatic exposure and adverse psychological outcomes differed by geographic origin of the participant, suggesting implications for targeted intervention.
