Abstract
The current study examined Bandura’s self-efficacy mechanism for diverse college students in a major U.S. city. Findings showed that self-efficacy indirectly predicted academic success through self-regulation regardless of college generational status. Conversely, significant indirect paths from self-efficacy to academic success through self-regulation were varied by race/ethnicity.
