Abstract

Two studies (ns = 148 & 174) combined elements of the situational judgment and prototype-matching approaches to quantify implicit variations in attachment security. Participants receiving higher implicit security scores were more satisfied with their relationships and had partners who also perceived their relationships to be of higher quality.
