The Negative Influence of Social Media Usage Towards Help-Seeking Attitudes

We examined the influence of social media usage on help-seeking attitudes and behaviors. We found positive correlations between social media usage, online self-disclosure and online social support. We found that age, gender and type of social media user predicted the use of social media to search for relationships.
