Abstract
Linguistic analysis was used to examine seven Democratic debate transcripts for Biden, Buttigieg, Warren, and Sanders. Candidates differed in the extent they endorsed the moral foundation Care, references to family and friends, and political vocabulary. Both Sanders and Warren spoke more about concerns of voters, including health, work & money.
