The Continuum from Temperament to Mental Illess

Temperament of healthy people and symptoms of psychopathology are conjectured to lie along a continuum of neurobehavioural (especially neurochemical) regulation. This continuum is described in dynamical systems terms as a landscape of dynamical phases. Study data illustrate the connection between Functional Ensemble of Temperament model temperament traits and mental illness.
