Abstract
This study investigated adolescents’ judgements of generalized anti-gay language and targeted homophobic name-calling in friend and peer contexts. Results of SEM analyses show that the relationship between peer contexts and judgment of wrongness is mediated by participants’ emotional responses. Different patterns emerged with friends being perpetrator in two scenarios.
