Relation between GDP Growth Rates and Suicide Trajectories in 175 Countries: 2014-2017

This study examined whether economic indicators predict suicide trajectories at the population level. Longitudinal data on GDP per capita and suicide rates were obtained for 175 countries. Latent class growth modelling revealed four distinct suicide trajectory groups over time, shedding light on the complex relation between economy and suicide.
