Abstract
A sequential regression was conducted, whereby the balance of possible selves were regressed on age, self-esteem, social media use, self-presentation, and social comparison. The model was not significant. Social comparison decreased with age. Balance increased with age. Academic selves were most common. Females reported more feared selves of interpersonal relationships.
