Stereotype Threat and Grit on Women’s Math Performance

Stereotype threat research has not examined the moderating role of grit. We predicted that women high on grit would be less affected by the gender-math stereotype. However, we did not find conclusive evidence that they were less affected by stereotype threat (vs. no stereotype threat) than women low on grit.
