Differential Analysis of Organizational Development (OD) and Employee Assistance Programs (EAP): The Effects of Dominant Organizational Culture

Abstract
The differential effects of organizational culture (OC) on the status, scope and integration of EAP and OD services was studied at U.S. academic institutions. The normative Academic Cultures Inventory (ACI) was administered to faculty at IAEAPE-member institutions. Coded interviews with EAP directors revealed programmatic distinctions among each dominant culture assessed.
