The Relationship of Language and Taking the Perspective of Others: Mouse-Tracking Theory of Mind Finds Lack of Bilingual Advantage in Adults with Potential Caveats

Abstract
Bilingual people have shown enhanced theory of mind. I tested whether this advantage remains for adults using mouse-tracking methodology. Monolingual and bilingual participants did not show significant differences in primary measures, although initiation time was significantly different on the cognitive task, and there was a potential language and gender interaction.
