Trait Boredom: A Personality Type More Than Poor Cognitive Ability

This study evaluated the psychometric properties and validity of a newly emerging self-report measure of trait boredom, the Trait Boredom Scale (TBS). It was found to be a robust measure with strong psychometric properties. The TBS was associated with poor sustained attention, high neuroticism, low conscientiousness and low extraversion.
