Abstract
This study explored gender differences in third-party perceptions of same-sex infidelity using a series of gender-varied vignettes describing ‘cheating’ in a romantic relationship. Gender differences in response to the vignettes were observed, with women cheaters overall judged more harshly, and women participants responding to the stories with more aggression.
