Abstract
Major depressive disorder (MDD) is a major contributor to the global burden of disease. In a cross-sectional sample of undergraduate students, this research investigates whether feelings of loneliness mediate the association between ruminating about interpersonal offenses and depression symptoms. Implications for clinical psychological science are discussed.
