Abstract

Adolescents with inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) are at risk for depressive and anxiety symptoms. This study examined associations between abdominal pain and internalizing symptoms in a sample of 76 adolescents with IBD. Results indicated positive associations between abdominal pain and depressive symptoms, as well as select anxiety symptoms.
