Abstract

This study investigated the relationship between safety reporting culture and go-around among 190 captains in a commercial South Korean airline. Results showed that safety reporting culture had indirect effects on captains’ acceptance of co-pilots’ go-around suggestions, fully mediated only by the negative emotion of anger, not anxiety-like emotions.
