Equal Rights Laws Reduce the Incidence of Human Trafficking across Countries

Abstract
We examined how equal human rights laws affect the incidence of human trafficking across countries. It was found that countries with equal rights and protections for women had lower rates of human trafficking and countries with fewer equal rights and protections had higher rates of human trafficking.
