Abstract
The present study investigated three implicit gender stereotypes in children (N=97, Mage=8.8 years). Results indicated that children hold implicit stereotypes associating men-strong/women-weak and men-loud/women-quiet; however, children did not appear to hold implicit stereotypes about men-work/women-home, suggesting this belief may form later in development.
