What Did We Cover Last Class? the Impact of Retrieval Practice in the Classroom

Abstract
Students were assigned to either engage in retrieval practice at the start and end of class sessions or to spend time reviewing material by looking over notes. Findings will include the impact of retrieval vs. review conditions on quiz and exam scores as well as students’ perceptions of the activity.
