Executive Function and Growth Mindset Interact to Predict Well-Being during the College Transition

Abstract
In a study of nearly 200 first year students, growth mindset interacted with executive function to predict well-being and academic success during the transition to college. Students with better executive function had better psychosocial and academic outcomes only if they also strongly endorsed a growth mindset.
