Abstract
Attachment avoidance as well as attachment anxiety are associated with different needs for power within romantic relationships. Regression analyses revealed that higher scores on both attachment dimensions are associated with less perceived power in college students’ romantic relationships. Results are discussed in terms of past research on satisfaction with power.
