Do Parents Show Sex Differences in Their Speech and Gesture When Talking to Their Singleton and Twin Children?

Abstract
Parents show differences in the way they interact with their daughters and sons. Our results showed no sex differences in parent speech production towards their children, but they used more diverse gestures with their sons. Looking at group differences, we found that parents used more gestures towards their twin children.
