Character and Fitness: Perceptions of Black, Female Attorneys

This study explores the intersection of race and gender of attorneys. We hypothesize black female attorneys will be perceived as less competent, trustworthy, and warm than whites; Black female attorneys' failure will be attributed to more internal factors. Black female attorneys were only rated significantly lower on perceptions of trust.
