Narcissistic Personality Features and Social Values: What Is Important to a Narcissist?

We examined whether the assertive/extraverted, antagonistic/disagreeable, and vulnerable/neurotic aspects of narcissism were associated with social values. Each aspect of narcissism had divergent associations with social values. For example, the assertive/extraverted and antagonistic/disagreeable aspects of narcissism were positively associated with valuing power but the vulnerable/neurotic was not associated with this value.
