Examining the Effects of Patient-Provider Relationships and Language Differences on Dental Treatment Anxiety

This study investigated two factors and their influence on odontophobia: the relationship each participant had with their dental provider and the language differences amongst providers and patients. Results showed no significant effect of language differences on anxiety scores; however, signified greater dental anxiety in individuals with a poor provider relationship.
