Abstract
We studied factors associated with transgender people’s psychological well-being. Family support, intimacy with a partner, taking hormones, and having gender affirming surgeries were associated with less anxiety, less depression, and greater life satisfaction. Psychological well-being was also associated with less desire to conceal one’s gender identity and less internalized transphobia.
