The Effects of Acculturation, Perceived Familial Support, and Stigma on Mental Health Recovery Experiences for Arab American Clubhouse Members

Arab American clubhouse members diagnosed with severe mental illness identified five major themes describing their subjective recovery experiences. Specifically, familial support was associated with greater ability for recovery whereas acculturation level and stigma associated with mental health did not have such a large effect on the recovery process.
