Abstract
Childhood adversity (CA) is common and strongly associated with psychopathology risk. Identifying factors that buffer children from experiencing psychopathology following CA is critical for developing effective interventions. Our findings extend prior work, suggesting that high reward reactivity may buffer against externalizing problems following certain forms of CA (i.e., trauma exposure).
