Abstract
A contemporary view of moralistic attitudes holds that reproductive strategy mediates the relationship between religiosity and political orientation. We examined the relationship between political ideology, sociosexuality, and rape myth acceptance. Men who condemn others having casual sex were statistically more likely to accept rape myths, whereas women were not.
