Abstract
People often perceive self-improvement over time, however there is some discrepancy in research on temporal self-appraisals following trauma exposure. Employing latent profile analysis, patterns of temporal-self appraisals in undergraduate students following trauma exposure were tested. Findings revealed three distinct profiles of appraisal style, suggesting variation in individual response to trauma.
