Abstract
Eating disordered behavior (EDB) and nonsuicidal self-injury (NSSI) are comorbid and can cause self-harm. However, literature typically classifies EDB as indirect and NSSI direct forms of self-harm. By online reports of participants 12-17, direct intentions to self-harm and self-punish were shown in both NSSI and EDB.
