Improving Aptitudes and Attitudes through Student Generated Case Studies

Abstract
To test if student-generated standardized test questions improve student views and ability to read technical literature and learn content, participants completed pre- and post-test assessments of their attitudes and abilities and completed repeated surveys of opinions during the semester. Improvement rates on test scores correlated with improved attitudes toward science.
