Abstract
Register data (N = 24,351) reveal that patients with low socioeconomic status receive delayed medical treatment and survive less often when suffering from an in-hospital cardiac arrest even when controlling for ethnicity, age, gender, patient history/comorbidities, and situational factors, suggesting that medical staff may discriminate against patients with low SES.
