Abstract
Anxiety-related attention bias (AB) is expressed as exaggerated attention towards or away from threat, but what predicts this heterogeneity? We tested whether AB towards threat was greater among those with intact threat-safety discrimination (N170 ERP) and inefficient cognitive control (N2 ERP). Results confirmed hypotheses and showed moderating effects of anxiety-severity.
